Associate Data Modeler
Functions performed –
- Capture and create the business requirements in logical Data Models.
- Establish relationship with the Data Architecture Practice and gather details to assist the Data Architecture for future state initiatives MDM Technical projects
- Gathering technical requirements to create/update Data Models
- Delivery items include using Modeler software to create and maintain entity relationship diagrams,
- Provide supporting Model documentation as needed.
- Verifying solution design options meet business and model
Skills/Experience
- 1+ years of experience in Data Modeling
- Experience in ERWIN, Visio and/or LucidCharts, preferred experience but not required: Diagraming, Complete Compare, Reverse Engineering, Forward Engineering
- Understanding of data warehousing and decision support tools
- Ability to verify models meet business requirements
- Ability to perceive patterns and relationships in data
- Ability to multi-task with several concurrent issues and projects
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Experience creating data models for Snowflake, SQL Server and Oracle databases a plus
- Ability and willingness to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work with customers to build and refine business requirements.
