Job Description
Job Title: Data Steward
Location: Remote
Work Authorization: USC/GC/H1B
Job Type: FT/C2H/Contract
Position Overview:
Ensure there are documented and published processes for granting system access and privileges in the business area. Develop policies and procedures to ensure appropriate access rules are in place and access groups are defined and maintained. Ensure that data is classified as restricted, regulated or public as it relates to the distribution of the data. Ensure data is deemed fit for purpose by developing data quality rules and regularly auditing data. Log data issues and work towards the resolution of data issues. Participate in the development of data policies including data retention, data privacy, data use and data regulations.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with SQL – creating queries and manipulating data
- 3-5 years of experience utilizing ER Studio for data modeling
- Experience with Azure highly preferred
- Experience with Power BI
- 3-5 year of experience data cataloging and knowledge of data lineage
Education
- B.S. in Information Technology or a related field preferred
