Job Title: Sr. Java Web Developer
Location: Utah
Job-Type: Contract
Salary Range: 110K – 150K
Referral Fee: $1,000
Employment Eligibility: Gravity will consider US Citizens, Green Card Holders and those with full-time US Employment Authorization (H-1B Candidates). We are also open to contract or “corp to corp” agreements for highly qualified candidates.
Position Overview:
Gravity IT is seeking an experienced Java/Angular developer to support one if its key customers, focusing on modernization and support projects for internal applications and websites that provide services to the citizens of Utah. In this position, you will have full-stack responsibilities and will be involved in the design and architecture of the web system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build new web applications and enhance/support existing applications
- Assist in design and architecture of web system/applications
- Enhance and maintain websites
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years’ experience with Angular 4 and above
- 5+ years’ experience working as a Java Developer (Java Fundamentals versions 9 and below, Java servlets and filters)
- 5+ years’ experience developing web applications
- 5+ years’ experience working with HTML/CSS
- Full Stack Development experience required
Nice to Have Experience:
- Understanding of RESTful web services/APIs
- Understanding of Object Relational Mapping frameworks (JPA/Hibernate and Entity)
- Understanding of SOAP web services
- Understanding of Spring MVC
- Proficient in CICD methodologies
- Understanding of designing and implementing relational databases (Oracle versions 18 and below)
- Understanding of Spring IoC
- Proficient in Jira, Git, GitHub, Maven
- Proficient in Eclipse and/or other IDE
- Proficient with Jenkins
- Knowledge of 508 compliance
- Knowledge of AWS cloud technology
