Location: Hybrid in Miami, Florida – 3 Days/Week Onsite

Position Overview:
The Developer II, EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) is responsible for the analysis, architecture, design, implementation, and support of technology solutions in the field of EPM. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the effective utilization of Oracle Cloud modules, with a focus on Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS/EPBCS), Hyperion Planning, and Essbase. The Developer II will work to optimize financial processes, provide technical support, and enhance the Hyperion application environment. This role requires strong technical skills, hands-on experience in EPM development, and the ability to provide expert guidance on best practices in planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze, design, implement, and support technology solutions in the EPM domain.
- Utilize expertise in Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) and other EPM Cloud modules (Narrative Reporting, FDMEE, EDMCS, PCMCS).
- Lead end-to-end lifecycle development and implementation, including requirements gathering, configuration, design, build, test, and go-live phases.
- Develop calculation scripts, groovy scripts, and other essential technical components.
- Optimize processes and identify areas for process improvement.
- Administer the EPBCS environment to support rolling budget/forecast models.
- Provide end-user training, report writing, and application support.
- Create EPM Automate scripts and REST API scripts.
- Implement best practices from previous architecture and implementation experience.
- Prepare and present updates and presentations to internal teams, client teams, and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to financial analysis.
- Ensure adherence to financial systems, processes, and reporting practices.
- Act as an advisor on planning, budgeting, and forecasting best practices.
- Develop in waterfall, hybrid, or agile development environments.
- Quickly grasp complex technical and business concepts.
- Possess knowledge of IBM Showcase Warehouse Builder Sets, FDMEE, and DRM Oracle tools.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of Hyperion EPM infrastructure.
- Have proficiency in reporting, ETL, and SQL queries, particularly in Narrative Reporting, Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle, and SQL Server.
- Comprehend the company’s philosophy on diversity in the workplace.
Technical Skills:
- Around 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud modules, particularly PBCS/EPBCS, Hyperion Planning, and Essbase.
- Strong aptitude for BSO, ASO, and Hybrid storage options.
- Experience with multidimensional analysis, database tuning, and optimization techniques.
- Professional database administration certification, e.g., Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified Database Administrator or Oracle Essbase or Planning Certification.
- Development experience in SQL Server from 2000 through 2014, VBA, DB2, and Java.
- Familiarity with JD Edwards World A9.2.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or certification required.
- 5+ years of experience in EPM development and administration.
- Proven hands-on experience in multidimensional analysis and database design.
