Position: Data/Solutions Architect
Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 6-12 Months Contract with potential for extension

Automotive Distributor & Fortune 200 company, leads in automotive distribution and insurance & warranties for Toyotas in the Southeast United States. Our initiative focuses on a mainframe modernization project aimed at enhancing our data repository digital hub for better application access and integration.

Role Summary:
Seeking a visionary Data/Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in our IT department. This individual will be instrumental in supporting our .NET Azure development team and leading the architectural efforts for our mainframe modernization project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical leadership and hands-on support for .NET Azure Developers.
  • Strategize and implement data integration solutions to improve our digital hub’s accessibility and application integration.
  • Collaborate with a diverse team, guiding both in-house and outsourced resources to meet project objectives.
  • Act as a key communicator, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and fostering collaboration across departments.

Required Technical Skills:

  • Software Development: 7+ years with a strong background in .NET, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and C#.
  • Solutions Architecture: At least 3 years of hands-on architectural experience, focusing on practical solutioning.
  • Azure Cloud Services: Proficient with Azure for 3+ years, including Application Services, Application Insights, Function Apps, and Logic Apps.
  • API Management and Integration: Proven ability to manage and integrate APIs, with experience in Salesforce integration a plus.
  • Data Management: Basic data modeling and familiarity with NoSQL databases, preferably Cosmos DB, to support effective data access and provisioning.
