Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system (QMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Establish quality objectives, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and monitor the effectiveness of the QMS.
• Lead internal audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams on quality-related issues, including product/service specifications, quality control processes, and corrective actions.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to address quality non-conformities and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to establish and maintain quality requirements and standards for purchased materials and services.
• Develop and deliver training programs on quality management principles, practices, and tools to enhance employee competency and awareness.
• Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, providing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
• Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality management, and proactively recommend improvements to the QMS.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports and presentations to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Certification in quality management (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence, Six Sigma Black Belt) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, preferably in Manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Lean Six Sigma, FMEA).
• Experience developing and implementing quality management systems and processes.
• Understanding of UL and NSF standards and testing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and achieving measurable results.
• Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
