Our client is a leading provider of veterinary services dedicated to improving animal health and well-being. They offer a range of veterinary care solutions, including medical treatment, surgical procedures, and preventive care. Our commitment to excellence and innovation drives us to seek a talented Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team.

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake DBA to manage and optimize our data infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our databases. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying dynamic data masking, implementing disaster recovery solutions in Snowflake, and managing version control using GitHub. As a vital member of the team, you will collaborate closely with our development, data engineering, and IT teams to support our growing veterinary services business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain Snowflake data warehouse environments, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
  • Implement dynamic data masking techniques to safeguard sensitive information and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery strategies and procedures for Snowflake databases, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues, optimizing SQL queries and resource utilization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data pipelines.
  • Manage version control for database objects using GitHub or similar platforms, ensuring consistency across environments.
  • Perform regular backups, upgrades, and patches to Snowflake databases, following best practices for security and compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders, helping them leverage Snowflake capabilities effectively.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in Snowflake architecture, cloud data warehousing, and database administration.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Snowflake Database Administrator or similar role, with a strong understanding of cloud data warehousing concepts.
  • Hands-on experience deploying dynamic data masking and implementing disaster recovery solutions in Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in SQL query optimization, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience managing version control using Git, GitHub, or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Certification in Snowflake or related technologies is a plus.
