Position Overview
Gravity is looking for a Business Analyst I that will be responsible for conducting complex operational analyses and leading medium to large project teams to support informed decision-making within the business unit. This position will play a key role in partnering with departments across the enterprise, supporting transactions related to the development of the company’s renewable portfolio, and implementing continuous business improvement initiatives.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analyses and prepare reports that provide operational and/or technical support to business operations.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support medium to large special projects.
  • Assist with process design and modification for continuous business improvement, including process mapping and creating visual workflows.
  • Partner with departments across the enterprise to support transactions related to the development of the company’s renewable portfolio.
  • Update master data to meet the business’s reporting needs and provide support for accurate forecasting and analysis.
  • Set up meetings with the business side to process map and establish workflows.
  • Ask detailed questions and document them in Jira, facilitating communication between stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and drive projects to completion.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Grad / GED
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Sharp personality with a willingness to learn and ask detailed questions
  • Understanding and experience with process mapping and creating visual workflows
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Ability to conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support project objectives
  • Curiosity and ability to challenge assumptions and drive continuous improvement
  • Detail-oriented approach, with the ability to document questions and answers thoroughly

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Power Automate (preferred over Salesforce)
  • Knowledge of risk management or insurance industry
