Job Title:  Senior Director IT 
Location: Remote (EST/CST Hours)
Work Authorization: USC/GC Holder
Job Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire

Job Summary

The Sr. Director of IT is responsible for providing technology vision, leadership and execution in the development and implementation of the enterprise Information Technology (IT) program. This role leads the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure, security and service delivery for a growing value-based care organization that includes comprehensive care centers, community-based care and pharmacy operations.  The Sr. Director of Information Technology will be responsible for the management of all IT operations, systems, projects, and services that relate to operations. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this individual will oversee the IT infrastructure, service delivery team, the security program, and ensure system performance and availability.  Individual will also work with company’s healthcare analytics team in monitoring and developing data warehouse capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establishes an infrastructure program strategy and roadmap and executes at speed in order to address the scale and growth needs of the business
  • Oversee the strategy and optimization of cloud and on prem environments.
  • Establishes and maintains SLAs for the team and partners.
  • Monitors enterprise systems with regard to performance, reliability, capacity and execute appropriate changes as needed.
  • Establishes attribution of enterprise cloud services to appropriate departments and user communities
  • Maintain processes that are responsive to resolving user reported issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Oversee infrastructure, security and service delivery including service desk teams, providing oversight, leadership and guidance to establish an operation that aligns with the needs of the growing enterprise
  • Ensure IT data security, risk management, disaster recovery and business continuity processes are aligned to best practice.
  • Lead strategic relationships between internal IT resources and external entities (vendors, partners, etc).
  • Govern system changes utilizing change management methodologies or framework.
  • Translate highly complex IT concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences; influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches.
  • Proactively identifies opportunities, conduct analyses, needs assessments, cost/benefit assessments and broker other IT services.
  • Develop a thriving team by monitoring, mentoring, directing, coaching and conducting performance reviews.
  • Maintain knowledge of current/emerging technologies/products related to architectural solutions.
  • Provides annual budget analysis for existing annual IT expenditures, as well as predicting IT funding needs for the next fiscal year.
  • Ensures policies are drafted, signed/supported by management, implemented through training and on-site procedures, and updated as required (minimum annually).
  • Drives HIPAA law compliance as well as IT security doctrines and best practices. Additionally, accountable to maintain our enterprise HITRUST certification
  • Partners with leaders to determine funding, budget requirements, timing and resources for projects.
  • Upholds Enterprise policy guidelines and recommend new/improved guidelines.
  • Partners with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues.
  • Reviews progress and evaluates results of all IT patches, upgrades, and changes.
  • Plans and assigns personnel for given IT projects or tasks.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the CTO.
  • Knowledge of VPNs, VLANs, Microsoft and Linux OS’s, Microsoft Active Directory and Domain Controllers, SQL and Oracle databases required.
  • Knowledge of specialized healthcare software/applications desired.

Minimum Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance/Cyber, Information System Management, or other similar field of IT/Engineering required, and at least 10 years’ experience, coupled with multiple IT and Health industry certifications.
  • Masters’ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Assurance/Cyber, Information System Management, or other similar field of IT/Engineering preferred but not required
