This position is accountable for producing the following result:  To ensure that incoming materials are received, orders painted and shipped in order to fulfill customer orders on time meeting all standards and requirements.
  • Strategic Work:
    • Recommend ideas for improvement of their department and position that are consistent with the company’s Mission Statement. 
    • Bring problems with any system to the attention of your manager in an Exception Report so the system can be improved, within the structure of the Operations Manual.
  • Tactical Work
    • Package orders and prepare for shipping
    • Paint pumps, motors and valves
    • Signoff off on units in shipping
    • Monitor the open order report to ensure no shipments are missed
    • Ship items in system
    • Create BOL’s for shipping
    • Schedule inbound and outbound freight
    • Create all necessary shipping documents
    • Prepare documentation for international shipments (Nafta, ISF Forms and Invoices)
    • Manage customer pickup orders (CPU’s)
    • Receive all incoming shipments immediately upon arrival
    • Receive and process RGA’s and CIA’s on the same day received.
    • Perform departmental maintenance
    • Monitor and track emails frequently throughout the day
    • Interact directly with customer service – keep informed of any potential shipping issues
    • Maintain paint booth, shipping area and equipment
    • Track and maintain shipping supplies – paint, gloves, foam
    • Send out email at the end of evening confirming that all items shipped. In the event a shipment was missed, include the SO #, Customer, Unit and reason for why item(s) did not ship.
    • every evening to specified HPS distribution stating that all items shipped – If item(s) is missed, SO# and reason will be provided
  • Company Wide
    • All work will be performed according to company policies and standards inherent in all position agreement‘s, system action plans, employee manuals, and ongoing policy memoranda.
    • All work will be performed in accordance with all government laws, regulations, ordinances, and court rulings in those jurisdictions in which the company operates.
    • All routine work will be documented in an Operations Manual.  The information included in the Operations Manual is proprietary.
    • Client and company information will be held strictly confidential outside the company.
    • All telephone calls, both internal and external, will be returned within one business day and within two hours whenever possible.
    • Manager will be notified of any issues to be resolved or deadlines that cannot be met by reporting position, prior to the due date, in an exception report.
    • All business communications, whether verbal, visual, or written, whether for internal or external use, will be professional in tone and content and according to any applicable existing company policies and standards.
    • Employees will respect each other’s time, space, and need for concentration.  Socializing and interruptions must not impede workflow.
