Job Title: Telecom Administrator
Location: Remote (Central / Eastern time zones)
Job Type: 6-month Contract (opportunity to extend)

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Telecom Administrator with 3-5 years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining telecom systems within RingCentral. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performing various tasks such as building and decommissioning sites, managing user adds, moves, and changes, handling faxing solutions, and managing number porting processes. Excellent documentation skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Site Management:

  • Build new sites and decommission existing sites within the RingCentral platform.
  • Ensure seamless integration and optimal performance of all telecom services at each site.

User Management:

  • Perform user adds, moves, and changes in RingCentral.
  • Manage user profiles, permissions, and settings to ensure effective and secure communication.

Fax Solutions:

  • Administer and support faxing within RingCentral and other eFax solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to fax services.

Number Porting:

  • Manage and coordinate number porting processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate transfer of numbers with minimal disruption to services.

Documentation:

  • Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of all telecom processes, configurations, and changes.
  • Create user guides, training materials, and support documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a telecom administrator
  • 3+ years of experience with RingCentral VoIP
  • Proven experience in building and decommissioning sites.
  • Strong understanding of RingCentral
  • Experience building out call entries and adding changes to RingCentral (moving numbers and users)
  • Experience building a site from the ground up and administering RingCentral
  • Familiar with porting and has worked with carriers in the past
  • Strong background in user management, including adds, moves, and changes.
  • Experience with faxing solutions within RingCentral and other eFax services.
  • Proficient in number porting processes and procedures.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications in telecom or related fields.
  • Experience with other telecom platforms and tools.
  • Knowledge of network and telecom infrastructure.
