Job Title: Merchandising Operations Specialist
Location: Hybrid 2 days onsite, 3 days remote – Plantation, Florida
Type: Contract

Overview:
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Operations Analyst on the Catalog Systems team in Plantation, Florida. Catalog Systems sits within the larger Retail Operations team, which is responsible for creating the systems, services, and process infrastructure for all businesses. The team’s mission is to be the backbone for the Business/Category teams, helping win long-term customer trust, business growth, and profitability.
The ideal candidate is innovative, detail-oriented, driven and demonstrates a high degree of ownership in all they do. In this role, you will be building lean process improvements and leading the implementation and team member training of such. The right candidate will have strong business acumen and be able to develop business insights and recommendations. The ideal candidate has proven experience in operational excellence with proven experience exceeding customer expectations. This individual is proficient in cross-functional program management and has proven experience delivering high quality results. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required as this role will interface directly with cross-functional teams to gain buy-in and roll out of new processes.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as a subject matter expert independently overseeing a specific body of work and/or process. Execute work in this area, identify and eliminate risks, issues or potential defects, communicate with Vendor Partners and internal stakeholders, etc.
• Assess existing process flows and lead process improvements using automation and/or process re-engineering.
• Develop standard operating procedures, user guides and how-to videos.
• Oversee team member training of new processes.
Requirements:
• Experience in team member onboarding, training and/or management of a team
• An entrepreneurial mindset and a passion to change, challenge, and improve processes
• Ability to think and react in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Strong communication (verbal/written) and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Suite products
• BA in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, Finance or similar
• 3+ years of work experience in a similar setting
