Job Title: Sr Technical Writer
Type: 6-month Contract
Location: Remote (CST)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Writer to develop and refine documentation for our cloud reference architecture materials. This role will involve creating clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation targeted at internal leaders, users, and vendors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical writing skills, a keen understanding of cloud architecture, and proficiency in PowerPoint and SharePoint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud reference architecture materials, ensuring clarity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, engineering, and management, to gather information and develop accurate content.
  • Develop user guides, technical specifications, best practice documents, and training materials tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ensure documentation is up to date with the latest cloud technologies, processes, and organizational changes.
  • Utilize PowerPoint to design engaging presentations that effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders.
  • Manage and organize documentation within SharePoint, ensuring easy access and version control.
  • Utilize Git Hub Enterprise Cloud
  • Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation quality and usability.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops as needed to support internal leaders and users in understanding cloud architecture.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably within the healthcare or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture concepts and terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint; experience with other documentation tools is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
