Overview: 
Our client is adding a Business Operations Manager to their team in their Cincinnati, Ohio location. We are seeking a proactive and creative Business Operations Manager to enhance our operational efficiency and support our growth.

Position Overview: The Business Operations Manager will be instrumental in optimizing our business processes and driving operational excellence. This role demands a detail-oriented, critical thinker with a knack for problem-solving and creative solutions. The ideal candidate will excel at connecting the dots to improve workflows, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage the schedule of the owner. Additionally, you will oversee the company’s social media presence, particularly LinkedIn and Twitter, to generate engaging content that boosts website traffic and attracts new business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Excellence:

    • Identify and resolve operational challenges through creative problem-solving and innovative thinking.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.
  2. Process Optimization:

    • Analyze workflows and processes to pinpoint inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate enhancements and ensure seamless execution.
  3. Project Management:

    • Lead projects focused on operational improvements and business growth, managing timelines and deliverables.
    • Prioritize tasks to align with strategic objectives and ensure timely project completion.
  4. Schedule Management:

    • Manage the schedule of the owner, coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
    • Ensure the owner’s time is optimized and aligned with high-priority business activities.
  5. Data Analysis and Reporting:

    • Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to inform strategic decisions and performance improvements.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on key metrics, operational performance, and project progress.
  6. Vendor and Contract Management:

    • Maintain relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring adherence to contractual terms.
    • Management of contracts and procurement processes effectively.
  7. Social Media Management:

    • Develop and execute social media strategies for LinkedIn and Twitter to enhance our online presence.
    • Create engaging and relevant content to drive traffic to our website and support business development goals.
  8. Attention to Detail:

    • Demonstrate impeccable attention to detail in all aspects of operations, from process implementation to content creation.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably within a tech or startup environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven ability to think creatively and critically.
  • Experience in managing social media platforms, with a track record of increasing engagement and driving website traffic.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in technologies such as business management software such as MS Office Suite, Excel and social media tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
