As a Security Analyst at our client, your primary responsibility will be to safeguard our endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices, from security threats. You will play a key role in monitoring, managing, and enhancing the security of our client’s endpoint infrastructure. By leveraging your expertise in endpoint protection technologies such as Carbon Black, you will ensure that our devices remain secure and resilient against cyber threats. Your role will involve proactively identifying vulnerabilities, implementing robust security measures, and responding swiftly to any endpoint-related incidents, thereby protecting our organization’s critical assets and data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Endpoint Monitoring and Protection: Oversee the security of all endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. Implement and manage endpoint protection solutions to detect and respond to potential threats.
- Threat Detection and Response: Utilize endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools to identify, investigate, and mitigate threats targeting endpoint devices. Analyze endpoint security logs and alerts to detect and address anomalies and potential breaches.
- Vulnerability Management: Perform regular vulnerability assessments on endpoint devices. Ensure timely application of security patches, updates, and configuration changes to address vulnerabilities and enhance device security.
- Incident Management: Lead investigations into endpoint security incidents. Develop and execute incident response plans specific to endpoint-related threats. Coordinate with IT teams to remediate and recover from endpoint security breaches.
- Security Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce endpoint security policies and procedures. Ensure that all endpoint devices comply with organizational security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Endpoint Configuration and Hardening: Implement and maintain security configurations for endpoint devices. Apply hardening techniques to reduce the attack surface and protect against known exploits and vulnerabilities.
Required Experience:
- 3 years of experience in a Security Analyst Role
- 3 years of experience with Endpoint Security Tools such as Carbon Black
- 3 years of experience with NDR and/or XDR
