Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Type: Contract (Through 6/30/25 with high likelihood of extension)

Job Location: Tallahassee, FL (On-Site)

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft Azure resources.
• Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades.
• Perform Microsoft Entra ID management activities.
• Work with data center staff, Office of IT, and users to perform Azure resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes.
• Inventory, document, install, and maintain applications on Azure resources.
  • Will also be assisting end-users.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues.
• Write PowerShell scripts to be used to monitor server properties.
• perform Active Directory and Exchange management activities.
• Administer infrastructure security as needed for Office of IT staff and users.
• Provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Schedule the development/implementation of software systems.
• Develop system test plans.

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with Windows Server
• 5 years of experience with Active Directory AND Domain Name System (DNS) with 1000+ users
• 3 years of experience with MS Azure Cloud
• 3 years of experience with Linux Server
• Experience writing, testing and executing PowerShell Scripts
• Experience working in a virtual server/cloud environment
• Experience installing, maintaining and supporting 3^rd party apps

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3 years with MS Azure Government Tenants
• 2 years with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Management
• Experience with Azure Data Warehouse
• Knowledge of IT Standards in a Criminal Justice Environment + experience with systems and services in a criminal justice environment
