Position: Telecom Engineer
Type: Contract (Remote)
Duration: Through December 31, 2024

Overview: We are seeking a skilled Telecom Engineer with expertise in migrating call center solutions to Genesys Cloud. This is a remote contract position scheduled to last through the end of the year. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transitioning from on-premises call center systems to cloud-based solutions, specifically Genesys Cloud, as well as experience in moving and testing automated call routes.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the migration of existing on-prem call center solutions to the Genesys Cloud platform.
  • Design, implement, and configure call flows and automated call routes within Genesys Cloud.
  • Conduct thorough testing of call routes to ensure seamless functionality post-migration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration process.
  • Document all processes, configurations, and changes made during the migration.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to team members as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience migrating from on-prem call center solutions to Genesys Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of automated call routing and call flow design.
  • Familiarity with telecom systems and call center technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members effectively.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in Genesys Cloud or related telecom technologies.
  • Experience with troubleshooting telecom systems and call routing issues.
  • Background in project management or process improvement.
