Location: Remote (Texas preferred)
Job Type: Contract

Position Overview:
- Position: Business Analyst 2
- Location: Primary location in Austin, Texas (Telework/Remote allowed; candidates across the U.S. can apply)
- Duration: Expected to start 11/01/2024 and complete by 08/31/2025, with possible renewals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business Analysis:
- Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs.
- Work on IT operations for Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Gather and document integration requirements for migrating HHS applications to IAMOnline.
- Participate in business process reengineering, prepare solution options, and perform financial analyses (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI).
- Create detailed descriptions of user needs, program functions, and steps for development or modifications.
- Documentation & Testing:
- Document business and functional requirements across multiple projects.
- Assist in functional testing, including reviewing test plans and compiling results.
- Organize, lead, and document meetings with stakeholders.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Work with various levels of staff and external stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to document and define requirements.
- Other Activities: Provide support for ongoing IAM operations and participate in daily activities for application integration.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 6+ years of experience documenting business/functional requirements across multiple projects.
- 6+ years of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- 4+ years of experience in functional testing (e.g., reviewing test plans, compiling results, supporting test users).
- 4+ years of experience in preparing project management artifacts.
- 4+ years of experience in business process definition, documentation, and engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Identity Management implementations.
- Preferred: 2+ years working with SailPoint IQ and OKTA integrations.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience working with Texas State Agencies.
This role focuses heavily on supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM), managing business processes, documenting system requirements, and assisting in various IT operational tasks. The candidate will work remotely but may need to align with the agency’s operating hours in Texas.
