Job Title:  PHP/Laravel Web Development Consultant
Location:  Remote
Job-Type:  Ongoing Projects (8-10 hrs/week- Flexible)
Compensation: 70-80/hr
Referral Fee: $ 500

      
Gravity IT Resources is seeking a Senior Software Developer to assist our customer with ongoing projects. We are looking for a talented PHP Laravel Developer to support them on current and future projects.  

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
  • Collaborate with the lead developer to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs for various applications.
  • Write clean, scalable, and efficient code following best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to improve functionality and user experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in PHP development with Laravel.
  • Strong understanding of MVC architecture and design patterns.
  • Must be able to work in a small and autonomous environment.
  • Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Livewire).
  • Familiarity with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM (Eloquent).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (PHPUnit, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Livewire or other modern PHP frameworks.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
