Job Summary
Barings is seeking an Associate Director, People Analytics & Reporting to take our data, analytics, and reporting to the next level. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in data mining, generation, visualization, and drawing conclusions. The primary function of the role is to examine global human capital data to inform business leaders on current and predictive trends and optimize decision making. This role requires strong analytical skills using Microsoft Excel and other data visualization functionalities in Power BI and Workday. Additionally, translating findings into meaningful insights clearly and concisely in executive presentations is a critical part of the role.
This role requires a highly motivated individual with a strong quantitative background and a keen eye for detail. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently with a strong customer service focus, desire to process improve, and ability to seek solutions independently. This position reports to the Senior Director of HR Shared Services & Advisory.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide reporting and analysis support to HR Shared Services & Advisory, HRIS, DEI, Talent Management, Total Rewards and Senior Leadership teams.
- Produce executive and board-level dashboards and presentations on human capital trends.
- Respond to regulatory and audit-related reporting requests.
- Assist in process improvements to gain efficiency and ensure data integrity across HR.
- Enhance manager and employee self-service reporting capabilities through technology and change management/training.
- Work closely with colleagues in the HRIS team to design reports that meet customer needs.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
- Expert capabilities with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.)
- Experience analyzing complex data and translating into meaningful business insights
- Experience utilizing data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Workday People Analytics, etc.)
- Experience with HCM software (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, etc.) and its reporting capabilities
- Technologically savvy with the ability to pick up new tools and techniques quickly
- Willingness and ability to adapt to the rapid business and organizational changes that accompany high-growth environment
- Educational background in statistics and prior experience in financial services is a plus.
