Job Description

We areseeking an experienced Business Analyst III to support the day-to-day operations of the Administrative Applications Organization. The selected candidate will play a key role in analyzing, evaluating, and enhancing business systems and processes to align with strategic goals. This role includes responsibilities in managing budget actions, software renewals, contractor renewals, audit deliverables, vulnerability remediation, and technical debt resolution. Additionally, the Business Analyst III may serve as a Scrum Master, overseeing and facilitating required Scrum ceremonies and ensuring adherence to Agile methodologies.

The ideal candidate will possess a blend of analytical, technical, and project management skills, with a background in business process reengineering, procurement, and agile practices. This position requires close adherence to established policies and procedures for Administrative Applications.


Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs, providing solutions to streamline operations and align with business strategies.
  • Formulate systems and solutions to address business challenges, providing options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (e.g., cost/benefit, ROI).
  • Develop detailed documentation of user requirements, program functions, and steps to create or modify applications.
  • Support the Director of Administrative Applications with deliverables such as software renewals, budget management, contractor renewals, and process audits.
  • Serve as a Scrum Master as needed, facilitating Scrum ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective) and guiding Agile practices.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years managing large budgets, including tracking, forecasting, and reporting.
  • 8+ years in procurement processes and procedures, including RFPs, vendor selection, and contract management.
  • 8+ years in software renewal processes, including contract renewals, license tracking, and vendor coordination.
  • 8+ years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, ensuring effective project delivery and adherence to Agile principles.

Preferred Skills and Certifications:

  • 4+ years of experience using Jira for project tracking and Agile management.
  • Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) or Professional Scrum Master certification.
  • 4+ years of experience in audit deliverables, including compliance documentation and process audits.
