Job Description
This IT Project Lead role focuses on managing large-scale data center operations projects and migrating on-premise data centers to AWS cloud services. The Project Lead will oversee the complete project lifecycle, ensuring that each project is delivered within scope, schedule, and budget. This role requires strong Agile project management skills, proficiency in stakeholder communication, and effective leadership to guide cross-functional teams. Lead will also work with vendors and oversee project backlogs to support continuous delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage data center operations and oversee migrations from on-premise to AWS cloud.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, breaking down tasks into manageable iterations.
- Develop and maintain well-organized project backlogs, ensuring the timely delivery of prioritized features.
- Oversee IT procurements, budgets, and project forecasts, ensuring cost-effective project delivery.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure alignment with project requirements and provisioning.
- Monitor project milestones and deliverables, adjusting timelines to stay within the project plan.
- Lead Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, promoting Agile principles.
- Communicate progress with senior stakeholders, addressing blockers and managing risks.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports for leadership on project progress, outcomes, and budget management.
