Position Summary:

As the Director of Data Logistics and Management, you will be responsible for all aspects of data exchange, organization, and storage.. This role requires a deep understanding of data pipeline creation, transformations, integration and     organization, validation, governance, and security. This individual will need exceptional technical and communication skills, leadership experience, deep expertise in healthcare data and related types, and prior experience with pharmacy claims, specifically.

 What you will do:

1.Data Exchange:

  • Lead creation, evolution, and maintenance of secure data pipelines, including establishment of related policies and procedures documentation

2.Data Organization & Security: 

  • Lead data architecture, mapping, and integration strategy as part of data warehouse deployment, ensuring data integrity, security, and performance

3.Data Governance:

  • Develop and maintain strong data governance and secure transmission policies and procedures, based on industry best practices and standards

4.Data Integrity: 

  • Ensure a high level of data quality and validation are maintained so data can effectively support business processes

5.Data Integration: 

  • Ensure seamless data integration between internal and external systems

6.ETL Tools & Tech: 

  • Oversee deployment, use, and maintenance of technologies and tools required to support data exchange, encryption, hosting, translation and transformation, storage and retrieval

7.Team Leadership: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, creating a culture of   being proactive, curious, innovative, and always willing to help

8.Stakeholder Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams across the organization, inclusive of operations and compliance, to optimize data flow and ensure secure, compliant, and efficient data management

What you need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data management, information technology, computer science, data science, or a related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in healthcare data operations and management, with at least 5 years of team leadership experience
  • 3+ years of experience in pharmacy or pharmacy benefit management (PBM) preferred
  • Deep proficiency in data pipeline establishment, data organization and integration, data exchange and storage security
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with ETL processes, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), cloud and web-based data solutions
  • Demonstrated competency in data security principles and ensuring full compliance with relevant industry standards including HIPAA, SOC, HITRUST, and other relevant data protection regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience with data integration, API management, and data governance
  • Experience with cloud-based and on-prem data storage and compute technologies including AWS, Azure, and related
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
