Job Description: Data Integration and Reporting Specialist

Location: Pacific/Mountain Time Zone (Remote)

Overview:
We are seeking a Data Integration and Reporting Specialist to join our team, which focuses on managing and enhancing a suite of applications that evaluate securities for portfolio analysis. The role involves working with public and private asset data across five applications (3 public, 2 private). This position requires hands-on experience with SQL, SSIS, SSRS, Azure technologies, and Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and enhance a suite of applications that evaluate portfolio securities.
  • Work with both public and private asset data and manage data flows between systems.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts for CRUD operations, including data pivots and updates.
  • Utilize SSIS for data integration and SSRS for reporting tasks.
  • Design and implement reporting solutions using Power BI.
  • Collaborate on Azure cloud solutions, leveraging Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related technologies for future-state implementations.
  • Integrate new vendor data feeds, update objects to support changes, and manage connections and timings.
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor files and feeds to meet critical SLA requirements tied to the firm’s book of record in Aladdin.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in data integration and reporting.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL (CRUD commands, pivot tables, and basic updates).
    • Expertise in SSIS and SSRS.
    • Strong experience with Azure Cloud technologies, including Azure SQL, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
    • Collaborative attitude and proactive problem-solving mindset.
    • Excellent time management to accommodate SLA-driven workflows.

Preferred Time Zone:
This role requires candidates to work in the Pacific/Mountain Time Zone due to SLA commitments. Early morning responsiveness is essential to ensure timely data processing and reporting.
