Job Summary:
Coordinate sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals and establish training programs for sales representatives in sales and leasing of industrial equipment. Analyze sales statistics gathered by staff to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess, redesign, and implement the company’s sales department structure and strategic sales strategy to be primarily focused on acquiring new customers and new sales, while continuing to cultivate and maintain key existing accounts and stakeholders
- Identify new sales opportunities and create and implement strategies to pursue them
- Positive Employee Relations by identifying and recruiting talented individuals to join the sales team; Providing all employees of the sales team with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed; Offering ongoing support and guidance to help sales team members improve their performance; Encouraging and facilitating opportunities for team members to grow their skills and advance their careers; Making difficult decisions to terminate employees who are not meeting performance standards or who are not a good fit for the team.
- Establish annual sales goals and define trackable metrics and KPIs for the sales team
- Leverage the company’s CRM, and analytic platforms to provide feedback and adjustments to the overall sales strategies
- Be the escalation point for the Sales Team.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales.
- Represent employer at Trade Association meetings as needed.
- Authority to stop production in the event due to poor quality, unsafe parts or conditions appear.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
