Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL – Onsite (5 days per week)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic HR Manager with experience in warehouse operations to lead and enhance our human resources functions. This role requires a proactive and organized professional who can manage employee relations, payroll, benefits, and compliance while fostering a positive and efficient workplace culture. The HR Manager will also oversee recruitment and events planning while supervising an HR Generalist.


Responsibilities

Payroll and Benefits Administration

  • Oversee time and attendance reporting to ensure accurate payroll processing.
  • Manage employee benefits, including medical, dental, 401(k), and ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan).
  • Administer the ESOP program by ensuring proper allocation of shares to eligible employees.

Employee Records and Compliance

  • Maintain and update employee records, including contact information and phone directories.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Recruitment and Team Management

  • Lead recruitment efforts for warehouse and office staff, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Supervise and mentor an HR Generalist handling recruiting and benefits coordination.

Employee Engagement and Events

  • Plan and organize company events, including holiday parties and employee appreciation activities, to boost morale and engagement.

Accounting Support (Preferred)

  • Assist with basic accounting tasks to support cross-functional operations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, with a background in warehouse environments.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
  • Familiarity with warehouse-specific compliance and labor laws.
  • Leadership skills with experience supervising HR staff.
  • Event planning experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in accounting or finance is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
