Job Title: Senior Manager Agile Coach
Location: Atlanta, GA
Employment Type: Full-Time – Hybrid (onsite 3 days/week – Tues thru Thurs)
About the Role:
Our client, a leading organization in the payments industry, is seeking a dynamic Senior Manager Agile Coach to drive Agile transformation efforts across the organization. This role is critical in shaping the Agile vision, strategy, and practices while ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep Agile expertise, exceptional storytelling skills, and the ability to coach and guide teams and leadership in adopting Agile methodologies effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Agile Transformation Leadership:
- Lead Agile transformation initiatives by developing and executing a vision and strategy tailored to the organization’s needs.
- Work closely with senior leadership, scrum masters, and technical leaders to foster an Agile mindset.
- Coaching and Mentoring:
- Provide guidance and training on Agile best practices, principles, and methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and other frameworks.
- Coach cross-functional teams and leadership to improve collaboration, delivery, and adoption of Agile principles.
- Storytelling and Advocacy:
- Demonstrate the value of an Agile operating environment through compelling storytelling, real-world examples, and tangible outcomes.
- Inspire stakeholders by effectively communicating the benefits of Agile practices.
- Facilitation and Enablement:
- Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and Agile ceremonies to drive engagement and adoption.
- Support teams in identifying and overcoming barriers to Agile implementation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Partner with teams to measure progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance Agile maturity.
- Share industry best practices, trends, and insights to refine processes and tools.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience leading Agile transformations, with a focus on large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong background in the payments industry, with an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities.
- Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, capable of inspiring diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders, scrum masters, and technical teams.
- Hands-on experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Strong facilitation, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, SAFe Program Consultant, Agile Coach certification).
- Experience leading Agile transformation in a payments-focused or financial technology environment.
