Job Title: Automated QA Engineer
Location: Remote
Job Type: Contract 3-6 months

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automated QA Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in automated testing tools such as Eggplant and Selenium, with hands-on experience in testing within the EPIC platform. This individual will play a critical role in evaluating and recommending testing tools, developing automated test scripts, and mentoring junior QA team members to enhance their technical skills and testing knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Eggplant, Selenium, and other relevant platforms.
• Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing within the EPIC platform to ensure system reliability and quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to identify and resolve testing requirements.
• Evaluate and recommend the best tools and frameworks to optimize testing within the environment.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
• Mentor junior QA testers, providing guidance on best practices, test script development, and tool usage.
• Create and maintain comprehensive testing documentation, including test cases, plans, and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging tools to continually improve the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in automated QA testing with tools like Eggplant and Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with the EPIC platform and understanding of its workflows.
• Strong programming skills in test automation languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
• Proven ability to recommend and implement testing tools and frameworks within complex environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a passion for mentoring and knowledge-sharing.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPIC certifications or training in relevant modules.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated testing into the development lifecycle.
