Job Title: Desktop Administrator
Location: West Palm Beach, FL (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Desktop Administrator with Level 2 support experience to join our team. In this role, you will manage and resolve desktop-related issues while providing exceptional support to control center dispatchers. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong troubleshooting skills, expertise in Windows environments, and a willingness to learn VMware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor team chat for user-reported issues, addressing concerns in real time.
- Provide guidance and support to de-escalate user frustrations and resolve minor issues efficiently.
- Deliver hands-on desktop support for control center dispatchers, including troubleshooting local desktops and software connectivity issues.
- Diagnose and resolve application disconnects by determining root causes (e.g., computer vs. application issues).
- Act as the sole point of contact for all computer-related support within the team (excluding application support).
Required Skills and Experience:
- Help Desk Support (3+ years): Proven experience in addressing and resolving end-user issues.
- Windows Experience (3+ years): Strong knowledge and support experience with Windows 10 and 11.
- VMware (1+ years, preferred): Basic understanding or willingness to learn VMware technologies.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for user interaction and issue resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot diverse technical issues.
