Responsibilities • This is an onsite, customer-facing role to help TurboTax customers who are working on their tax returns or have delegated their tax returns with: • Tax advice • Full Service return preparation and signature • Product/software inquires • Tax calculations • Create high quality customer interactions and experiences that instill confidence using deep customer empathy, and your deep (extensive) knowledge and expertise in the field of tax preparation. • Apply defined practices, procedures, and company policies to troubleshoot and resolve custom tax advice and preparation inquiries. • Document customer interactions • Work continuously toward meeting company KPI metrics and Big Bet Goals. • Participate in pilot testing, projects, and experience validations, as needed Show Proficiency in the Following Topics • Tax Filing Status • Dependent Eligibility • Child Tax Credit • Multi-State Taxes • Wage Income • Itemized Deductions • Retirement Income Qualifications: • An active PTIN is required to be eligible for these positions. • Depending on state requirements, an unrestricted credential (CPA/EA/Practicing Attorney) may be required. • 2+ seasons of professional Tax Prep experience filing 30+ returns per season On a Typical Day, you will: • Provide superior customer support, helping customers prepare their income tax returns on site. • Create an excellent customer experience using your expertise in tax preparation and technical ability. • Resolve customer problems in a friendly manner to ensure high customer satisfaction. • Carefully document all customer interactions.
