The Quality Manager is responsible for managing the Quality Management System, overseeing the functions of Quality Engineers, Technicians and/or Associates. The Supervisor coordinates with divisional departments regarding quality issues and procedures, facilitates the Root Causes Analysis process, and responds to and tracks corrective actions. This position also participates in the selection of suppliers and communicates with mills on claim and concerns, and will complete First Article/PPAP submissions per AIAG guidelines. Will conduct capability studies, perform gage studies, and manage calibration activities among other duties as needed. Must be a hands-on willing to spend 75% on shop floor, self-motivated, high energy individual.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred)
• Supervisory Experience (3yrs min)
• 5+ years of related experience
• ISO 9001: 2015 or equivalent
• Knowledge of steel industry and various products 
• Knowledge of basic computer applications, notably Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as computerized document control
• Skilled in lean manufacturing principles and practices (5S)
• Ability to problem solve using structured methodologies (5 Whys, 8D)
• Skilled in communication and customer service
