Our client is looking for assistance in performing export control classifications on software and data that is created and stored within their applications. During this process, the analyst will be working under the direction of the Risk and Compliance team as well as Application owners and their teams. Essentially, we are looking to supplement an ongoing EC Tagging effort currently underway. The service provider team is being tasked to complete core requirements for roughly 300 – 350 designated applications. This work would be performed on an expedited timeline; we are interested in starting asap and completing the effort in 3 months or less. The only deliverables anticipated are the natural outputs from the listed work activities and routine project status reporting.
 
Key responsibilities: 
 
•                     Conduct kick-off meetings to develop a high-level understanding of the current software and data that might be subject to  regulations.
•                     Document and maintain a repository within company records of all documents and materials used to define the Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) (“Factors”). Note: The Factors will be provided through training videos and classes, and instructions communicated by client during the project term. Factors will be determined by client, based on communication between Export Control Leader,  Digital Technology’s Risk and Compliance team,  application owners, and other Stakeholders as  determines are appropriate
•                     Complete ServiceNow workflows and incorporate the Factors that were used in determining the ECCN. 
•                     Conduct scheduled meetings with the Export Control Leader to communicate current priorities, any roadblocks, and current delays that need to be addressed.
•                     Complete Export Control Tagging to reduce backlog of new and re-reviewed export control tagging as needed.
 
Included among the key assumptions are:
 
•                     Project staff will be granted access to client resources 
•                     All engagement communication and work produced within this project scope will be in the English language.
•                     Service provider will staff the project with individuals who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents.
•                     No data is to be exported to any foreign person(s) as part of this effort.
 
Required Skills and Experience: 
1. Business analyst background with experience in Data Tagging and application tagging 
2. Must be an analytical thinker and be very driven to complete tasks under deadline. Any legal experience is a plus.
3. Software development background is ideal but not required.
