We are looking for a Mid to Senior Level Data Engineer to join our team with expertise in Informatica IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud), Snowflake and Data Integration. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least two previous end-to-end implementations of data pipelines and workflows, and a solid understanding of the principles of data engineering and data management.
Key Responsibilities

• Data Engineering & Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient data pipelines using Informatica IDMC and other related tools, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Informatica IDMC Implementation: Lead and/or participate in the implementation of Informatica IDMC for data integration, data quality, and data governance solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Snowflake Development: Design, implement, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake to support data integration, transformation, and analytics.
• Data Integration: Develop and maintain integration workflows for multiple systems, transforming raw data into actionable insights.
• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with data architects, business analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot & Optimize: Identify and resolve performance issues in ETL processes, data integration, and data pipelines. Optimize data processing workflows for scalability and efficiency.
• Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of workflows, data pipelines, and architecture for future reference and maintenance.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all implemented solutions meet industry best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance to junior team members, helping to build their skills and ensure adherence to best practices.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or a related field, with a strong focus on Informatica IDMC
• Previous Implementations: Experience in successfully completing at least 2 end-to-end implementations of data integration projects, including design, development, deployment, and post-deployment support.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong experience in Informatica IDMC for building and managing ETL pipelines and data workflows.
  • 1+ year of experience working with Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Oracle, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.
  • Python experience is great to have.
  • Familiarity with Data Warehousing and Data Lakes concepts and tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data issues.
• Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
