Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Utah or Texas (remote role but MUST live in UT or TX)
Job-Type: Permanent

Position Overview:
As a DevOps Engineer you will be involved in helping the organization execute on the current DevOps/Deployment plans while designing a roadmap (and executing on that roadmap) to build a reliable end-to-end automated DevOps platform. You will seek methods to achieve automation through Infrastructure as Code and use of CI/CD wherever possible.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work with DevOps team to research and propose ideas, tools, process improvements
- Drive automation using cloud orchestration, configuration management, and CI/CD systems
- Automate management and monitoring systems across all environments
- Find and diagnose problems and resolve and/or escalate problems to ensure SLA’a are met
- Use modern automation and configuration management tools to automate DevOps task
- Perform System monitoring of physical and virtual instances (VMware) infrastructure
- Build Docker images and Kubernetes clusters
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years overall experience in Systems/Dev/DevOps related roles (Linux system administration, DevOps, Application Development, Cloud Engineering, etc.)
- Strong Linux experience
- Experience with Core AWS Services (EKS, EC2, EBS, S3, EFS, IAM, CloudWatch, Cloud Trail, etc.)
- Experience with Containerization (Kubernetes/Rancher, Docker)
- GitHub
- Experience Building CI/CD pipelines
- Terraform
Nice to Have Experience:
- Experience with both on prem and cloud environments – having helped a company make the transition.
