Overview:
Gravity IT is lookign for an IT Business Analyst is will be respondsible for supporting the Product Owner by helping in Agile development with story writing and development administration analysis and defect/bug triage diagnosing within an assigned area. The Analyst will need to determine the root cause of problems and provide accurate and timely solutions.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Must be flexible and readily adapt to changing priorities/tasks
- Ability to work under pressure, maintains composure and professionalism in a developing environment.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills.
- Demonstrates an understanding of the links between business drivers and IT processes and can articulate through documentation and process mapping
- Confluence and JIRA story writing and administrative duties
- Provide status update for assigned product work stream
- Work with product owners, product analysts, and development teams to build solutions that support scale across the enterprise
- Gather requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, workshops, surveys, business processes, use cases, and business and workflow analysis
- Craft business requirements, process level flows, user stories, functional specifications, use case and activity diagrams, and system design specifications.
- Leverage systems and tools to the best possible extent and drive industry best practices for automation technology innovations.
- Help define roadmaps, business priorities across all domains.
Technical Skills:
- Demonstrates an understanding of technology used in Business/Financial Domain.
- Executes assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Quickly grasps technical and business concepts
- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies systems including configuring, testing and deploying to support the needs of the business
- Independently solves technical problems in assigned area
- Provides support for User Acceptance Testing phase before deliverables go to Production
- Collaborates with subject matter experts to assist in analysis and modelling of business processes and capabilities
- Utilizes reporting tools to extract and manipulate data
- Recognizes when to escalate to more senior associates
- Provides level 2 support functions
- Implements solutions in alignment with IT strategy and standards
- Application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users, to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications
- design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications
- Design, documentation, testing, creation, or modification of computer programs related to machine operating systems; OR a combination of the above
Qualification
- 3-5+ years
- Degree preferred or multiple certifications.
