Job Title: Program Manager
Job Type: Direct Hire

Overview: 

  • Ensure the facility operates at peak efficiency, with customer satisfaction being the primary goal by supervising, organizing, directing, and training employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation goals
  • Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping
  • Train and manage a team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Oversee daily operations, while controlling and managing inventory and logistics
  • Review and prepare workflow, manning and space requirements, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and customer service standards are met
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
  • Implement visual management system (KANBAN) in order to optimize current inventory levels and streamline processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise daily activities and processes of the department, including quality assurance, procurement/inventory control, space management, floor productivity, 
  • Schedule and oversee team to meet the demands of the fulfillment center, improve processes and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime
  • Meet regularly with leads to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity and loss prevention
  • Oversee and manage processes utilized to transport products to customers and internal facilities, communicating with all parties to ensure efficient delivery 

 

 

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering or Supply Chain 
  • 5+ years experience in a leadership role within an industrial setting 
  • Proficient knowledge of procedure and policy pertaining to efficient workflow in a facility 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
