Job Title: Salesforce Local Service Offering Lead (Columbus)

Job Type: Direct Hire

Location: Columbus, OH area

Referral Fee: $3,500 +/-

Job Responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Support the sales team lead and drive business development, manage client accounts, hunt and farm opportunities for Salesforce consulting services and projects
  • Leverage your network across industry verticals and geographies for networking and identifying new business opportunities, both individually and working collaboratively with other business development colleagues
  • Writing and presenting sales proposals, Statements of Work and RFP responses
  • Accountable for advancing our customer’s relationship with Salesforce account executives and members of the Salesforce user community (e.g., Salesforce User Groups)
  • A frequent speaker at local and national marketing events
  • Blog, tweet and speak about Salesforce and Digital thought leadership, including public speaking and contributing to content marketing
  • Be a Salesforce evangelist and the driving force in helping us expand within Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and into other specific clouds such as Financial Services Cloud, Commerce Cloud, etc.

Practice Management:

  • Support the team in achieving revenue and profitability targets
  • Work collaboratively with other leaders to provide clients with solutions that extend beyond Salesforce
  • Work closely with our client’s Salesforce practice leaders and business unit leadership on project staffing and resource management
  • Contribute to build-out of materials: case studies, marketing, and sales collateral
  • Take initiative and work to improve processes related to the role
  • Complete required operational admin needed to support the role and the practice in a timely fashion

Project Delivery:

  • Maintain an average billable utilization of approximately 75%
  • Lead Salesforce consulting engagements as a trusted, strategic advisor
  • Facilitate and ensure delivery of project kickoff, ongoing oversight and ensuring delivery excellence for Salesforce projects
  • Provide high-level Salesforce solution architecture and recommendations
  • Work closely with our client’s team of 40+ Salesforce architects, admins, and developers to solution and deliver projects, including managing onshore, remote teams
  • Work with clients to define scope and approach for Salesforce projects, overseeing all aspects of delivery, deliverables creation and direction of project resources?
  • Structure and present recommendations to client executives for approval
  • Provide solution training for clients as necessary

Job Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Salesforce as well as hands-on experience defining Salesforce optimization strategies and best practices utilizing the following Salesforce products (in order of preference):
    • Sales Cloud
    • Service Cloud
    • Marketing Cloud
    • Salesforce Community
    • Salesforce Licensing model
  • Domain knowledge of Marketing and Sales organizational functions and operations
  • Experience in full-project life cycle implementations and ongoing, managed services
  • Experienced in integration of Salesforce core systems and analytics.
  • Familiarity working with teams doing custom development around Salesforce products
  • Executive presence and credentials to influence CMO’s and CIO’s about Salesforce best practices
  • Management Consulting experience is strongly preferred. That said, you will also be considered if you have a strong industry background.
  • Sales and business development experience.
  • Strong credentials with B2B and B2C business models
  • Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence quickly
  • When asked, can provide 3 reference clients
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid and entrepreneurial environment
  • Prior successful experience developing and managing a sales pipeline
  • ?4-year college university degree
  • Salesforce Certifications; the following are required:
    • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant
  • Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Consultant would be a preference
