Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, including cash flow forecasting, modeling, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and ad hoc reporting. The ideal candidate will be able to provide accurate and timely financial information to senior management and play a key role in financial decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage cash balances to ensure adequate funding for the company’s operations
  • Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations
  • Manage accounts payable, including vendor payments, reconciliations, and vendor relations
  • Perform cash management activities, including bank account reconciliations, cash transfers, and treasury management
  • Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed by senior management
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with all accounting policies and procedures and identify opportunities for process improvements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or equivalent certification preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years of experience in a senior accountant role
  • Strong knowledge of cash flow forecasting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, modeling cash management, and ad hoc reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
