Job Title:  Sr. Site Reliability Engineer

Position Overview:

As a member of the Cloud Enablement team, you will design and implement platforms, processes, and tools that enable our developers to rapidly deliver both new solutions and existing on-prem workloads to the public cloud. You will provide hands-on assistance to development teams with their cloud deployment and migration efforts and utilize best-in-class CI/CD, infrastructure automation, observability, and operational tooling to automate and streamline their software delivery processes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Designing and maintaining modern continuous integration and deployment solutions
  • Implementing applications in public/hybrid cloud infrastructure and container technologies, including Kubernetes and AWS Lambda platforms
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex Linux environments and microservices architectures
  • Designing and building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as CircleCI, Terraform, CloudFormation, Octopus, and Kubernetes tools (e.g, kubectl, Helm, ArgoCD)
  • Excellent understanding of best practices in microservices architectures.
  • Developing and maintaining software tooling to support programmable infrastructure & environments (infrastructure as code)
  • Experience programming in a high-level programming language such as Python, Node, C#, or Bash
  • Experience with logging and monitoring infrastructure using tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, and CloudWatch
  • Background building distributed, server-based applications supporting business-critical processes
  • Experience with MongoDB, MariaDB, and PostgreSQL is desirable
  • Enthusiastically driving automation into software development and delivery practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS managed services including networking, IAM, EC2, EKS, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, and Route53
  • AWS Cloud Architect and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certifications are desirable
