Job Responsibilities:

• Perform software testing of controlled chassis products
• Develop test cases and test procedures based on product requirements for controlled chassis system with an emphasis on diagnostics, communication, system I/O, and firmware functions
• Establish traceability between product requirements, test cases, and test results
• Document test finding and perform investigations to resolve reported software or system anomalies
• Issue status reports as necessary on software verification status
• Develop test designs and scripts for use on automated testing tools

 
Requirement Qualifications:

• BSEE degree or BS in Computer Science
• Hands on experience with hardware and/or embedded control system development and testing
• Ability to read and understand C programming language
• Ability to perform white box testing and conduct investigation
• Ability to use microprocessor data acquisition, communication, and flashing tools
• Ability to use basic electronic tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, function generators)
• Ability to understand hardware schematic principles and design techniques
• Ability to debug and test ECU software
• Technical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with vehicle communication protocols (GMLAN, CAN, 14229, KW2000)
