Job Title: Sr. Technical Program Manager

Location: Remote

Job-Type: Contract / Contract to hire

Referral Fee: +/- $1000

We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with a proven track record of delivering complex projects and programs to completion and a deep understanding of best practices in deploying cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS, such as S3, Kubernetes, etc. In addition, excellent technical writing and presentation skills and strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritization and delivery of project/program roadmap.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

  • Lead complex projects/programs through the complete lifecycle
  • Partner with engineering, research, and technical service teams to prioritize and drive delivery.
  • Build, prioritize, and report on engineering backlogs for project completion.
  • Collaborate with release management, incident management, and site reliability to ensure the rollout of changes has minimal impact on our clients.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software industry experience as a TPM or a similar role delivering value to customers.
  • 3+ of those years of successfully implementing and managing SaaS development programs; strong knowledge of the SaaS business model and its development lifecycle.
  • Top-notch written and oral communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership, evangelizing project/program strategy, and handling sensitive escalations.
  • Strong collaboration, influence, and negotiation skills to align the organization around prioritizing and delivering a project/program roadmap.
  • Exceptional time management skills to effectively juggle multiple demanding priorities.
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments.
  • Well-developed leadership, management, and strategic-thinking skills, with the ability to excite and lead others.
  • Deep experience with the software development lifecycle; ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using agile methodologies.
