Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Remote

Job-Type: Contract 

Referral Fee: $200/month

Position Overview:

Our client is looking for a Technical Writer to join their team to write standard operating procedures for their business users.

The successful candidate will have experience with SharePoint and Salesforce.

Primary/Essential Duties and Key Responsibilities:

  • Write SOP's for business users.
  • Document issues and enhancements.
  • Streamline process for gathering information 
  • Update general release and customer-specific user guides.
  • Work closely with IT teams and management.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of technical writing in enterprise/large-scale organizations 
  • Highly proficient in SharePoint, Salesforce, MS Office Suite, and Teams 
  • Smartsheet knowledge a plus
  • Strong collaboration skills and working within a team and across the organization 
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-starter with stellar organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Easily balances autonomy with teamwork to achieve desired results
  • Critical thinking
  • Follow, research, and implement industry standards
  • Flexibility to accommodate stakeholders and company needs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Change Management certification
  • Experience facilitating process workshops, creating process maps and models, and working with Process Analysts
