Role: GitHub Systems Administrator.
Location: Remote.
Duration: Initial Term: One Year.

Job Description:
- Technical Expertise:
- GitHub Enterprise Administration: Proficiency in managing and configuring GitHub Enterprise, including user management, repository management, and security settings.
- Version Control Systems: Strong understanding of Git and other version control systems.
- Integration and Automation: Experience with integrating GitHub Enterprise with other tools and systems (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, project management tools) and automating workflows using GitHub Actions or similar tools.
- Security and Compliance:
- Security Best Practices: Knowledge of security best practices for managing code repositories, including access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Compliance: Understanding of compliance requirements related to code management and data protection (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
- Issue Resolution: Ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to GitHub Enterprise, including performance problems, connectivity issues, and user access problems.
- Support: Providing technical support to users and teams, including training and documentation.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Team Collaboration: Experience working with development teams to ensure effective use of GitHub Enterprise and to support collaborative workflows.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders, document processes, and provide training.
- Project Management:
- Project Planning: Ability to plan and execute projects related to GitHub Enterprise implementation and upgrades.
- Vendor Management: Experience in managing relationships with vendors and external partners.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Process Optimization: Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies to optimize GitHub Enterprise usage and workflows.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Ability to monitor system performance and generate reports to track usage and identify areas for improvement.
- Educational Background and Certifications:
- Relevant Degree: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as GitHub Certified Administrator, or other related certifications.
