Job Title: Software Developer III
Location: New York (Hybrid)

Job Overview
We are looking for a full stack Software Developer III with a strong emphasis on front-end development (React) to support a security-focused engineering team. This is a hybrid role based in New York City, requiring onsite work 3 days per week. The initial engagement involves building a customer security education feature from the ground up (6-month scope), with the opportunity to transition into a long-term project involving internal security products (18-month roadmap).
You’ll be working in a tight-knit, collaborative team of engineers, contributing to high-value features that help other development teams build more securely. While full stack experience is preferred, this role will primarily focus on React and front-end engineering. Backend technologies include Python and Java, though direct backend work will be limited.
Responsibilities

Build user-facing features using React and JavaScript

Participate in collaborative whiteboarding and design sessions with the team

Deliver secure, scalable, and maintainable code

Support integration with internal APIs (no 3rd-party APIs)

Occasionally assist with backend logic to support frontend needs

Help define and refine UX based on functional security requirements
Required Skills

3–6 years of professional software development experience

Strong React/JavaScript development expertise

Experience building end-user-facing products in fast-paced environments

Strong collaboration and communication skills, particularly in design and iteration

Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with Agile teams
Preferred Experience

Experience at major tech companies (e.g., MAANG)

Background in cybersecurity-related products (e.g., Wiz, BlackDuck)

Familiarity with backend development in Python and/or Java

Exposure to internal tools, product security, or customer education solutions
