Project Manager – Job Description
Our client is presently in the market for a contractor Project Manager position with excellent communication, business relationship management, and ability to hold teams accountable for assigned tasks.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Executive presence and effective communication
- Must be able to clearly articulate project updates to stakeholders and members of the senior leadership team
- Must possess a strong presence with confidence and polish
- Excellent planning and coordination skills
- Waterfall and Agile Methodology
- Must have strong experience running waterfall, agile and hybrid projects, aligning processes, deliverables and project metrics/dashboards/reports as needed
- Experience with various dependent projects potentially being executed with different methodologies

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage projects that involve multiple vendors and complex integrations
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Develop and track full scale project plans including external integration points and dependencies
- Establish and coordinate project teams
- Direct and oversee the project team
- Define project tasks and manage project resource allocation
- Manage project budgets as applicable
- Identify project risks and issues and develop and execute mitigation plans
- Manage project changes to achieve project goals
- Monitor and report project status to all stakeholders
- Participate in quality audits
- Develop Requests for Information/ Proposals (RFI/RFP) for external services as applicable
- Demonstrate leadership, and strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher required
- Project Management Professional (PMP) required
- Minimum 5 years of project management experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
- Experience with Microsoft Project, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps a plus
- Certification or a degree in management information systems, project management or engineering a plus
