Job Title: S2P Business Process Analyst, Principal (OpenText, SAP Business Network)

Salary Range: $156,000 – $190,000 + 15% Bonus Target

About the Role
We are seeking a Principal-level S2P Business Process Analyst to join a high-impact SAP transformation initiative. Now entering its third year, this greenfield, seven-year enterprise program is focused on modernizing business processes, data architecture, and procurement systems. The successful candidate will serve as a functional product owner across Source-to-Pay (S2P) workstreams, with an emphasis on OpenText and SAP Business Network (SCC), especially around coded materials.
This is a hybrid role based in Oakland, CA, with relocation assistance provided. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site Tuesday through Thursday.
What You’ll Do

Lead requirements gathering for service procurement processes, partnering with business stakeholders to translate needs into functional specifications

Perform Fit-to-Standard analysis to assess how SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Fieldglass, and OpenText capabilities align with existing operations

Collaborate with System Integrators to design, build, and test solutions across the S2P lifecycle

Own the UAT process by coordinating test planning, validating business scenarios, and ensuring resolution of defects

Drive change management and adoption strategies across procurement teams and business users

Deliver end-user training and create enablement documentation for post-implementation success
Technical Focus Areas

OpenText: Experience managing document compliance, integration, and lifecycle across procurement and contract workflows

SAP Business Network / SCC: Strong understanding of supplier collaboration, especially around coded materials

Experience working with SAP Ariba, Fieldglass, and S/4HANA in a cross-functional environment
What We’re Looking For
Required:
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
8+ years of SAP-related work experience
-
5–7 years of functional experience in Source-to-Pay (S2P)
-
3–5 years hands-on experience with SAP Business Network/SCC and/or OpenText
Preferred:
-
Prior experience in a product owner or functional lead capacity

Background supporting complex enterprise programs or greenfield SAP transformations

Strong communication, confidence, and cross-functional collaboration skills

Change management and training design experience
