Job Title: Sr Software Engineer
Location: Sat Lake, Utah- Hybrid
Job-Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $130,000-150,000
Referral Fee: $2,500
Position Overview:
The selected individual will possess the ability to devise technical designs for moderately complex projects and comprehends the necessary tradeoffs in crafting quality software. Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging software seamlessly, adept at overcoming obstacles when dealing with intricate tasks. Skillfully breaks down substantial projects into manageable tasks and sub-tasks, fostering effective collaboration within the team. Advocates for team processes and upholds the utmost coding standards. Additionally, demonstrates operational proficiency encompassing monitoring, performance optimization, documentation, integration testing, and visual design awareness.
Desired Experience:
- Collaborates effectively with QA, recognizing and communicating software-related risks to relevant stakeholders.
- Provides mentorship to fellow engineers through code reviews, code pairing, and clear presentation of ideas.
- Demonstrates initiative by identifying and proposing tasks for self and team members.
- Consistently produces high-quality code, staying abreast of industry best practices and trends.
- Exhibits a comprehensive understanding of how their code aligns with and supports the business.
- Assumes responsibility for projects extending beyond individual development tasks.
- Actively contributes to the initial creation and ongoing enhancement of team development processes and standards.
- Proactively addresses technical debt to prevent long-term issues.
- -Possesses in-depth knowledge of systems, facilitating efficient debugging of moderately complex tasks across the codebase.
- -Supports ideas with metrics, emphasizing data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with modern web development technologies including but not limited to:
- Angular JS
- Java Spring
- Relational database design with Oracle/PostgreSQL
