Job Title: Sr. Product Manager – Payments
Location: Plano, TX (onsite)
Job-Type: Contract
Salary Range: $60 – $70/hr.
Referral Fee: $1,000
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Sr. Product Manager with deep expertise in payments and finance to lead the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise-wide payments products. This role will partner closely with engineering, finance, and executive stakeholders (including the CEO and Board) to drive impactful payment solutions across multiple business lines.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define and own the payments product strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to deliver scalable payment solutions.
- Evaluate payment technologies and contribute to build vs. buy decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, finance, product leadership, and executive teams.
- Communicate clearly with senior leaders, including VPs, SVPs, and the Board.
- Oversee reconciliations, integrations, and compliance alignment for payment systems.
- Drive continuous improvements and iterations post-implementation.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 7+ years of product management experience with a strong focus on payments.
- Deep expertise in payment gateways, processors, reconciliations, etc.
- Proven ability to evaluate technical solutions and drive enterprise-level product decisions.
- Strong background in finance/accounting with ability to bridge business and technology.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- Self-starter who thrives in complex, high-visibility environments.
- Experience working with Oracle Financials.
