Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer
Location: Sat Lake, Utah- On-Site/Hybrid
Job-Type: Direct Hire
Salary Range: $130,000-175,000 DOE

Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Senior Cloud Engineer to build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this hands-on role, you will be a key contributor to our technical team, implementing scalable solutions and ensuring our systems are reliable and secure. You’ll work closely with other engineers to execute technical strategies and drive best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS services to support business requirements.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation strategies using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using platforms such as EKS and Docker.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud systems, with a focus on day-to-day operations and improvements.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to documentation and knowledge-sharing to help internal teams improve their cloud expertise.
Core Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on experience with core AWS services (compute, storage, networking, and identity management).
- Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with container platforms like Kubernetes and Docker.
- Solid understanding of cloud security principles and access controls.
- Experience with serverless architectures (e.g., AWS Lambda) and microservices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Skills Requirements:
- Technical: Deep, hands-on expertise with a major cloud provider like AWS, Azure, or GCP. This includes services related to compute (EC2), storage (S3), networking (VPC), and identity management (IAM). You need a strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, and experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions. Familiarity with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS) is also critical.
- Experience: 5-8 years of professional experience in IT or a related field, with a focus on cloud-centric roles.
- Certifications: Professional-level certifications from a cloud provider (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or Solutions Architect – Professional) are highly preferred
