Job Title: PC Support Specialist
Location: Salt Lake City, UT (onsite)
Job-Type: Contract-to-Hire
Salary Range: $45K – $55K
Position Overview:
The PC Support Specialist provides technical support to internal employees across North American branches, ensuring timely and effective resolution of IT issues. This role involves diagnosing problems and implementing solutions. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with clear communication skills and a passion for helping others.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Respond to and resolve IT tickets efficiently while maintaining detailed documentation.
- Set up new PCs, install software, and configure printers.
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment repair or replacement.
- Partner with internal departments to develop and document IT processes.
- Provide email support and participate in staff meetings to share feedback.
Required Experience & Skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on IT help desk experience.
- Strong PC troubleshooting, communication, and multitasking skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and basic networking/security.
- Experience with printers and related troubleshooting.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
Nice to Have Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- A+ Certification preferred.
